June 11, 2008. Our ship was called the Regatta. It had approximately 700 passengers. On the first day we had a lifeboat drill.
We had a stateroom with a balcony. It was very compact, but big enough for our needs. The view from the balcony was very nice.
The ship's interior was very elegant and there were numerous salons and shops as well as a library and a computer room.
The upper deck had a pool and around it a fitness track.
Of course there were abundant places to eat and drink, such as the main dining room, the Toscana restaurant, the Polo Grill and for informal dining the Terrace Cafe. For enjoying drinks they had the Martinis Bar and lounge. In the afternoon we had high tea at the Observation Lounge.
For gamblers, there was a casino and card rooms.
To help passengers navigate through the ship and ashore, there was a reception desk and a tour desk.
At the end of the day, there were shows at the theater and the Regatta Lounge.
