February 26, 2004.  Paddy's cousin Ernesto Temperley and family, from Buenes Aires, paid us a visit.  Left to right:  Paddy, Ernesto Temperley, Ernesto's daughter Carolina, his son Matias and his wife Susanna.  Matias enlisted in the United States Army, served in Iraq, and became a United States Citizen.  Congratulations Matias!

February is a very quiet month for activities along the New Jersey Shore but we were able visit the Historic Highlands Twin Lights.  Twin Lights is situated 200 feet above sea level overlooking the Shrewsbury River, Sandy Hook, Raritan Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Operational in 1828 it was the primary lighthouse for the New York Harbor and was the brightest light in North America.  After visiting the interesting museum, we climbed one of the Twin Light Towers and were able to see the marvelous New York skyline.
